The Youth Ministry at First Baptist Church shatters the stereotype that church is boring. Our Student Ministry exists to reach students for Jesus Christ and connect them through meaningful relationships. We seek to grow students who honor God with their lives and serve others out of a passion for Him. We offer an experience that allows students to worship God in a way that makes it easy for them to invite their friends.
Re:Generation Youth Events
AUGUST
- Wednesday, August 4th - Youth Home Teams @Sluder Residence – 6:30PM – 8:00PM Bring Swimsuit, Towel, and Bible. Food will be provided. 204 Riggs Pl. Belen, NM 87002. (864-6465)
- Wednesday, August 11th – ISOTOPES GAME – Departing Church at 6PM – $7 Due By Wednesday, August 4th.
- Sunday, August 29th – Re:ACTion Drama Team Fall Start Up - @ The Yates’ Residence – 30 Anaya Rd, Belen, NM 87002. 4:30PM-6:00PM – This is for students interested in participating in our student drama team. The meeting will be to discuss drama guidlines contract, fall semester plans, and to get better acquainted. The team will be under the leadership of Venetia Yates and Sean Farrell.
September
- Sunday, September 5th and Monday September 6th – LIVES ABLAZE STUDENT CONFERENCE – Departure at 1pm – on Sunday, September 5th. Students need a sack lunch for Sunday. Back at church at 4PM on Monday, September 6th. Total Cost $65. $20 Deposit Due on Sunday, August 8th.
