What Is Church?

For years, most people thought of the church as only a building. However, the church is the people, not a place or a meeting you attend. We have discovered that there is more joy in finding a place to serve instead of getting our own needs met. Whether it is volunteering in the Food Pantry, visiting in the Senior Center, caring for the homeless, or praying for someone in the hospital; we want everyone to know that they matter. If you are interested in volunteering with us, please let us know.
Why Church?
Most people still believe in God and the Bible, but bad experiences have left many feeling jaded and confused. It is time to re-think church to be a place where you can ask questions about your doubts, experience authentic relationships, and embrace the fact that you matter. Regardless of your past and faith tradition, we welcome you to give church, and God, another try as we pursue Jesus in a different and real kind of way.
